Leon's philosophy about his art:  

What inspires me is to find a subject to paint that I can find challenging/interesting. Then to try to figure out a game plan or research a new approach.

As the painting is generated, it does not go as planned (frustration).

Go to plan B.

Then to watch it all come together in the last hour of work is very rewarding…
